To clarify: there is too much LDL cholesterol leads to atherosclerosis, but the abundance of LDL particles migrate a steep diffusion gradient, the particles in the subendothelial space. This is where normal lipid panel cholesterol below the measurement is representative of a cardiovascular risk patients. Many patients with cardiometabolic risk factors LDL cholesterol depleted P so they have more LDL-P to the normal transport of LDL cholesterol levels.
